Ashland is a fairly new addition to the Parish of Simpson, turning it into the Parish of Simpson and Ashland.
Ashland was the home to Milton Keynes Greyhound Stadium from the 1960’s, this was demolished in 2006, making way for a new housing development.
These days Ashland consists of a residential area with local shops and an area managed by the Parks Trust consisting of some lakes, parkland and woodland.
